- Design, develop, and test guidance, navigation, and control systems for advanced aerospace and defense programs.
- Collaborate with a team of experts to push the boundaries of technology and engineering.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and solve complex challenges related to guidance, navigation, and control systems.
- Utilize flight dynamics, control theory, and simulation tools to develop innovative solutions.
- Work closely with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technologies related to guidance, navigation, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the development of systems.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other team members.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Mentor and train junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge in guidance, navigation, and control systems.
- Collaborate with government and commercial customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Document all design processes, procedures, and results for future reference.
- Communicate project progress and any challenges to project managers and stakeholders.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Continuously strive to improve and optimize the performance and efficiency of guidance, navigation, and control systems.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Preferably In Aerospace, Mechanical, Or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Guidance Navigation And Controls (Gnc) Design And Analysis.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C++, Matlab, And/Or Simulink.
Knowledge Of Industry Standard Tools And Software For Gnc Development, Such As Stk, Agi, Or Stars.
Strong Understanding Of Control Theory And Its Application To Spacecraft And/Or Aircraft Systems.
