
Staff Data Center Architect – Network Communications

- Design and implement complex data center network infrastructure to support critical operations.
- Maintain and continuously improve existing data center network architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and make recommendations for network optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in network communications to ensure the data center remains cutting-edge.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network architecture, design, and processes.
- Ensure network security and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network equipment and services.
- Train and mentor junior team members on network architecture and best practices.
- Collaborate with other architects and engineers to develop and maintain a cohesive overall architecture for the data center.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising the quality and functionality of the network.
- Lead projects and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and make recommendations for their integration into the data center network.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Network Communications Design And Architecture, Preferably In A Data Center Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Network Protocols, Including Tcp/Ip, Bgp, Ospf, And Mpls.
Experience With Network Hardware And Software, Such As Cisco Routers And Switches, Juniper Firewalls, And F5 Load Balancers.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
