Develop and implement systems engineering strategies and solutions to support the company's aerospace and defense technology projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test complex systems and ensure their successful integration.
Utilize your expertise in TS/SCI clearance processes to ensure compliance with government regulations and secure project information.
Lead and mentor junior systems engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, and provide timely and effective solutions to ensure project success.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
Conduct thorough research and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes.
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Participate in proposal development and support business development activities.

Job Qualifications

Active Ts/Sci Clearance: The Candidate Must Possess An Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (Ts/Sci) Security Clearance, Which Is A Requirement For Working On Sensitive Government Contracts.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Sr. Principal Systems Engineer At Northrop Grumman Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Field To Effectively Design And Develop Complex Systems.
Extensive Experience In Systems Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Systems Engineering, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: This Position Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Of Engineers And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Skills.
Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Systems Engineering Principles, As Well As Experience With Various Engineering Tools And Techniques. Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso And Itil, Is Also Highly Desirable.
