Collaborate with subject matter experts and other team members to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of training scenarios.
Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in military protection techniques and incorporate them into training scenarios.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure scenarios align with current military training standards and objectives.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of training scenarios to make necessary adjustments and improvements.
Manage and maintain a library of training scenarios for various military branches and specialties.
Provide guidance and support to other trainers and instructors on how to effectively utilize training scenarios.
Communicate with military personnel and leaders to gather feedback and incorporate it into future training scenarios.
Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols while working with sensitive military information.
Continuously assess and enhance the effectiveness of training scenarios to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of our armed forces.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in training techniques to continuously improve the quality and impact of our training scenarios.
Represent Northrop Grumman as a subject matter expert in military protection and scenario writing in various forums and events.
Mentor and train junior trainers and scenario writers to develop their skills and knowledge in this field.
Adhere to company policies and procedures while carrying out all job duties.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Military Training Experience: A Sr. Principal Military Trainer Protection Sme Scenario Writer At Northrop Grumman Must Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Delivering Military Training Programs. This Includes Experience In Tactical And Strategic Planning, As Well As Knowledge Of Various Military Equipment And Technology.
Subject Matter Expertise In Protection: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Protection Strategies And Tactics, Including Force Protection, Physical Security, And Counterterrorism. They Should Be Knowledgeable In The Latest Protection Technologies And Practices And Be Able To Incorporate Them Into Training Scenarios.
Excellent Communication And Writing Skills: As A Scenario Writer, The Candidate Must Possess Exceptional Written And Verbal Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Clearly Articulate Complex Military Concepts And Scenarios To A Diverse Audience, Including Military Personnel Of Different Ranks And Backgrounds.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Think Critically And Analyze Complex Situations Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Identify Potential Security Threats And Develop Effective Training Scenarios To Mitigate Them. They Should Also Be Able To Adapt Scenarios To Different Training Environments And Objectives.
Security Clearance: A Sr. Principal Military Trainer Protection Sme Scenario Writer Must Have An Active Security Clearance Or Be Able To Obtain One. This Is Necessary To Access Sensitive Military Information And To Work On Classified Projects. Candidates With Prior Military Service And An Existing Clearance Will Be Preferred.
