Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Computer Science, Statistics, Or Related Field: A Sr. Principal Data Scientist At Northrop Grumman Should Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field. An Advanced Degree Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Foundational Concepts And Principles In Data Science And Machine Learning.
Extensive Experience In Machine Learning And Predictive Analytics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Deploying Machine Learning Models For Predictive Analytics. This Includes Experience With Various Algorithms, Techniques, And Tools Used In The Field.
Strong Programming And Data Analysis Skills: A Sr. Principal Data Scientist Should Possess Advanced Skills In Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Large Datasets And Performing Data Analysis, Data Mining, And Data Visualization.
Leadership And Project Management Experience: This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Lead A Team Of Data Scientists And Oversee The Development And Deployment Of Machine Learning And Predictive Analytics Solutions. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Project Management, Including Setting Project Timelines, Managing Resources, And Delivering Results.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Sr. Principal Data Scientist Will Be Required To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, As Well As Experience In Presenting To Senior Management, Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
