- Apply industrial engineering principles and methodologies to identify areas for improvement and develop plans for implementation.
- Conduct thorough analyses of production processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
- Utilize data and analytics to track and measure the success of process improvements.
- Identify and recommend new technologies and tools that can enhance production processes and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
- Train and mentor junior industrial engineers to ensure departmental goals and objectives are met.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production processes and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in industrial engineering.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Participate in project planning and execution to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management to provide updates on progress and identify potential roadblocks.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within production processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Industrial Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Industrial Engineering, Specifically In The Defense Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing Large-Scale Industrial Engineering Projects.
Extensive Knowledge Of Lean Six Sigma Principles And Methods, With A Black Belt Certification Preferred.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Management.
