  1. Develop and design user interface concepts and solutions for the Sentinel GBSD program, ensuring they meet all requirements and are user-friendly.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze user needs, and develop design solutions.
  3. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve interface designs.
  4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to communicate design ideas and ensure they align with user needs.
  5. Utilize industry standard design tools and software to create high-quality interface designs.
  6. Stay updated on current design trends and best practices to ensure the interface remains modern and relevant.
  7. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful implementation of interface designs.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any interface design issues that may arise during development or testing.
  9. Ensure all interface designs are compliant with company standards and security protocols.
  10. Continuously improve and optimize interface designs for enhanced user experience and efficiency.
  11. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior interface design team members.
  12. Contribute to the development and maintenance of design standards and guidelines for the Sentinel GBSD program.
  13. Keep abreast of industry advancements and technological innovations to incorporate into interface design strategies.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of interface design goals and solutions.
  15. Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of interface design tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical, Aerospace, Or Systems Engineering Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Interface Design And Integration For Complex Systems, Preferably In The Defense Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Related To Interface Design And Integration.

  • Experience With Cad Software, Such As Catia, For Creating And Modifying Engineering Drawings.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Lead And Manage A Team, Including Assigning Tasks, Setting Priorities, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of High-Quality Work Products.
