  1. Develop and lead radar system design, integration, and testing activities for defense programs.
  2. Utilize advanced engineering principles and techniques to design and integrate radar systems for cutting-edge defense programs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of radar systems into larger defense systems.
  4. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of radar systems to ensure performance and functionality meet program requirements.
  5. Investigate and provide solutions for complex technical problems related to radar systems.
  6. Stay current with industry developments and advancements in radar technology to continuously improve and enhance defense programs.
  7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on radar system design and integration.
  8. Work closely with program managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers and team members, to provide updates on radar system progress and address any concerns or issues.
  10. Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures related to engineering design, development, and testing.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for radar systems.
  12. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in radar system design and testing.
  13. Participate in proposal development and support business development efforts related to radar systems.
  14. Adhere to and promote a culture of safety in all aspects of radar system design and testing.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to radar system design, integration, and testing activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Radar Systems Design And Development: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Radar Systems Engineering, With A Strong Background In Designing And Developing Complex Radar Systems.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Radar Signal Processing Techniques: The Senior Principal Radar Systems Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Including Target Detection, Tracking, And Discrimination.

  • Proficiency In Radar System Simulation And Analysis Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Radar System Simulation And Analysis Tools Such As Matlab, Simulink, And Stk To Model And Evaluate Radar System Performance.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Project Management Skills To Effectively Lead A Team Of Engineers And Ensure Successful Project Execution.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Senior Principal Radar Systems Engineer Will Be Required To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, And Hardware Engineers. Therefore, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role.
