Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of all company facilities.
Develop and implement strategic plans for facility maintenance and improvement.
Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations.
Manage and coordinate all facility-related projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure facilities meet the needs of various departments.
Stay updated on industry developments and recommend new technologies or processes to improve facility operations.
Lead and mentor a team of facilities engineers and technicians.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all facilities, including blueprints, maintenance records, and safety protocols.
Communicate with upper management and stakeholders on facility-related matters, including progress updates and budget reports.
Monitor and control facility-related expenses to stay within budget.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.
Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for facility repairs and maintenance.
Continuously evaluate and improve facility processes and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Facility Design And Construction: A Senior Principal Facilities Engineer At Northrop Grumman Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Facility Design And Construction, With A Strong Track Record Of Successful Projects.
Knowledge Of Government Regulations And Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Government Regulations And Standards Related To Facility Design, Construction, And Operations, Including Osha, Nfpa, And Epa Regulations.
Project Management Skills: As A Senior Role, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Meet Deadlines, And Maintain Budgets.
Strong Technical Background: A Senior Principal Facilities Engineer Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Engineering, Architecture, Or A Related Field. They Should Also Have A Thorough Understanding Of Building Systems, Such As Hvac, Electrical, And Plumbing.
Leadership And Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team, Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, And Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
