Lead the development and delivery of innovative products and solutions for customers in the aerospace and defense industry.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage product backlog in accordance with agile methodologies.
Identify customer needs and market trends to inform product development and strategy.
Work closely with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and release plans.
Communicate product vision and strategy to the development team and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products and features.
Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
Continuously gather and analyze feedback from customers and stakeholders to inform product improvements and updates.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in agile product management.
Mentor and guide junior product owners and team members in agile practices and product management techniques.
Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure consistency and alignment across products and portfolios.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track product success and inform future decisions.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact product delivery or quality.
Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and use it to inform product strategy.
Represent the company and the product at industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience: The Senior Principal Agile Product Owner At Northrop Grumman Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Product Owner Or Product Management Role, Preferably In An Agile Environment. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Successful Products And Driving Product Strategy.
Agile Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Agile Principles And Methodologies, Including Scrum, Kanban, And Lean. They Should Also Have Experience In Leading Agile Teams And Implementing Agile Best Practices.
Technical Background: A Senior Principal Agile Product Owner At Northrop Grumman Should Have A Strong Technical Background, With A Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field. They Should Also Have Experience In Software Development And A Good Understanding Of The Technology Landscape.
Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Cross-Functional Teams, Manage Stakeholders, And Drive Product Vision And Strategy. The Senior Principal Agile Product Owner Should Also Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills.
Business Acumen: The Senior Principal Agile Product Owner Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Business And Market Landscape, As Well As The Ability To Identify And Prioritize Product Features That Align With Business Goals And Customer Needs. They Should Also Have Experience In Market Analysis, Product Pricing, And Competitive Analysis.
