Administer and maintain Linux operating systems for critical mission systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems and applications.
Implement and maintain system security protocols to ensure the protection of sensitive data.
Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of new technologies and applications.
Develop and maintain system documentation including configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Linux systems to ensure optimal performance.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on system status and any potential issues.
Continuously evaluate and improve system processes and procedures to enhance overall performance.
Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
Lead and participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues.
Mentor and train team members on Linux systems administration best practices.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Linux Operating Systems, Including Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.
Strong Knowledge Of Server Virtualization Technologies, Such As Vmware And Kvm.
Experience Managing Large-Scale Linux Environments, Including Server Clusters And High Availability Systems.
Proficiency In Scripting And Automation, Using Languages Such As Bash, Perl, Or Python.
