  1. Conduct thorough and accurate inspections of products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  2. Identify and report any quality issues or defects to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  3. Utilize various inspection tools and equipment to accurately measure and evaluate product components.
  4. Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to maintain consistency and accuracy in inspections.
  5. Maintain detailed records of inspection results and report any non-conformities to the Quality Assurance team.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  7. Continuously monitor and improve the quality control processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing inspections.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to quality control.
  10. Communicate any potential risks or concerns regarding product quality to management.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to quality inspection.
  12. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating a strong work ethic and willingness to assist team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge And Experience In Quality Inspection Techniques: A Quality Inspector 1 At Northrop Grumman Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Methods, Including Visual And Measurement Inspections. This Includes Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Quality Inspector 1, One Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Even The Smallest Defects Or Deviations From Specifications. This Is Crucial For Ensuring The Final Product Meets Quality Standards.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Quality Inspectors At Northrop Grumman Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Other Team Members, Including Engineers And Other Inspectors. This Includes Being Able To Accurately Document Inspection Results And Any Issues That Arise.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Specifications: A Quality Inspector 1 Must Be Able To Read And Understand Technical Drawings And Specifications In Order To Perform Inspections Accurately. This Includes Knowledge Of Gd&T (Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing).

  • Familiarity With Quality Management Systems: Northrop Grumman Utilizes Various Quality Management Systems, Such As As9100 And Iso 9001, To Ensure The Highest Level Of Quality In Their Products. A Quality Inspector 1 Should Have A Working Knowledge Of These Systems And Be Able To Adhere To Their Principles.
