1. Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for production planning, including sales forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
3. Monitor production processes and identify potential issues or roadblocks to ensure efficient and effective production flow.
4. Make adjustments to production schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, resource availability, or other factors.
5. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
6. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components needed for production.
7. Work closely with production managers and team leaders to ensure that production schedules are aligned with production capacity and capabilities.

9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all production planning activities.
10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date production documentation and records.
11. Participate in regular meetings and discussions with production teams to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to production planning and incorporate them into processes and strategies.
13. Train and mentor junior production planners and schedulers as needed.
14. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and open communication among team members.
