Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance to identify areas for improvement.
Create and maintain supply chain plans, including inventory management and demand forecasting.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of supply chain plans.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain processes.
Lead and mentor junior supply chain planning specialists.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentations related to supply chain activities.
Participate in supplier performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as industry and regulatory standards.
Participate in cross-functional projects to support overall business objectives.
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner to suppliers and other external stakeholders.
Continuously strive to meet or exceed performance metrics and goals set by the company.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Planning, Preferably In A Government Or Defense Industry Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Demand Planning, Inventory Management, And Supplier Relationship Management.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Supply Chain Issues.
Experience With Supply Chain Planning Software And Systems, Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Jda, And The Ability To Quickly Learn And Adapt To New Systems.
