Design and develop innovative software solutions that meet the needs of government and commercial customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient and effective software designs.
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Collaborate with project managers to create and maintain project schedules and track progress against project milestones.
Continuously improve software development processes and procedures to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Conduct research and evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance the development process.
Participate in project planning and estimation, providing technical expertise and insights to ensure accurate and achievable project goals.
Act as a subject matter expert in software development, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security protocols, to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Software Development: A Principal/Sr. Principal Software Engineer At Northrop Grumman Should Have A Strong Background In Software Development, With A Minimum Of 10-15 Years Of Experience In The Field.
