  • Lead and manage quality assurance activities for all products and systems within the company.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure products and processes meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of product and process documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics to track and report on the effectiveness of quality control processes.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on quality standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure their products and processes meet quality standards.
  • Lead and participate in quality audits and support regulatory inspections.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
  • Communicate and report on quality issues, concerns, and improvements to upper management.
  • Mentor and develop junior quality engineers within the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Quality Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Quality Engineering, With A Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Processes, Tools, And Techniques.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Principal Quality Engineer, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Quality Engineers And Ensuring The Successful Execution Of Quality Control Plans. The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: Northrop Grumman Operates In Highly Regulated Industries, Such As Aerospace And Defense. The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As As9100, Iso 9001, And Itar.

  • Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Engineering, With A Focus On Quality Control And Assurance. They Should Be Proficient In Using Quality Tools And Techniques, Such As Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis, And Failure Mode And Effects Analysis.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Northrop Grumman Values Continuous Improvement And Innovation. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Implementing Process Improvements And Driving A Culture Of Quality Throughout The Organization.
