  1. Manage and analyze program costs to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  2. Develop and maintain program cost control processes and procedures.
  3. Monitor and track program expenses, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
  4. Identify cost variances and provide recommendations for cost reduction and cost savings opportunities.
  5. Prepare and present program cost reports to management and stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with program managers and other team members to develop and maintain project budgets.
  7. Conduct risk analysis and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential cost overruns.
  8. Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely cost data.
  9. Utilize financial tools and systems to track and report program cost performance.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in program cost control.
  11. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on program cost goals and objectives.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to program cost control.
  13. Participate in program reviews and audits to ensure compliance with cost control processes.
  14. Mentor and train junior cost control analysts as needed.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiencies in program cost control.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Program Cost Control, Preferably In The Defense Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Government Contract Regulations And Requirements, Such As Far And Cas.

  • Proficiency In Cost Control Systems And Tools, Such As Sap, Costpoint, And Earned Value Management.

  • Excellent Analytical And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Financial Data To Stakeholders And Senior Management.
