  1. Conduct Shearography inspections on advanced aerospace systems and components to ensure quality and reliability.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive inspection plans and procedures for Shearography testing.
  3. Analyze and interpret test results to identify any defects or anomalies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Shearography testing.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in Shearography to continuously improve processes and techniques.
  6. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in Shearography testing procedures.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing activities and results.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates and recommendations on Shearography testing.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in Shearography testing.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while conducting Shearography testing.
  11. Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and updates related to Shearography testing.
  12. Collaborate with suppliers and third-party vendors to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on Shearography testing for the company.
  14. Contribute to the development of new products and processes by providing expertise and insights on Shearography testing.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company with integrity at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Non-Destructive Testing (Ndt) With A Focus On Shearography

  • Level Iii Certification In Shearography From A Recognized Organization (E.g. Asnt, Nas 410)

  • Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Ndt And Shearography

  • Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Ndt Technicians And Engineers
