  1. Manage and maintain the security of our Linux-based systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and comply with company policies and procedures.
  2. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, working to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Design, implement, and maintain system configurations and infrastructure for optimal performance and scalability.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new solutions, and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  5. Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary updates and patches to ensure system stability and security.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, as well as provide training to team members as needed.
  7. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in Linux technology, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to our systems.
  8. Serve as a technical lead and mentor for junior team members, providing guidance and support on complex technical issues.
  9. Respond to and resolve system emergencies and outages, participating in an on-call rotation schedule as needed.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on system status and any necessary maintenance or upgrades.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve system processes and procedures to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and best practices, to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Proficiency In Scripting Languages Such As Bash, Python, Or Perl.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Linux Operating Systems, Including System Administration, Troubleshooting, And Performance Tuning.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware Or Openstack.

  • Experience With Configuration Management Tools Such As Puppet, Ansible, Or Chef.
