  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of international trade regulations and laws to ensure compliance within the company's global operations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments of the company's international trade activities to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
  3. Collaborate with internal departments such as legal, procurement, and shipping to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  4. Provide guidance and training to employees on international trade compliance policies and procedures.
  5. Monitor changes in international trade regulations and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
  6. Conduct internal investigations and implement corrective actions in the event of any compliance violations.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies and external parties regarding international trade compliance matters.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all international trade transactions and activities.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure their compliance with international trade regulations.
  10. Stay informed on current industry trends and best practices related to international trade compliance.
  11. Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to government agencies as required.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and solutions for complex international trade compliance issues.
  13. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of trade compliance operations.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional and ethical manner.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Trade, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In International Trade Compliance, Preferably In The Defense Or Aerospace Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Export Control Regulations, Including Itar, Ear, And Ofac.

  • Experience With Government Contracting And Familiarization With Fms And Dcs Programs.

  • Strong Communication And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Regulations And Effectively Communicate Compliance Requirements To Internal Stakeholders.
