Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Engineering: A Principal Engineer Systems- Nuclear Survivability/Air Blast Effects Must Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Engineering, Preferably With A Focus On Nuclear Engineering Or Related Fields.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Nuclear Survivability: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Nuclear Survivability Principles, Including The Effects Of Air Blasts On Structures And Systems.

  • Experience In Systems Engineering: This Position Requires A Deep Understanding Of Systems Engineering Processes And Principles, Including Requirements Development, Design, Integration, And Testing.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Engineer, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Managing Projects Related To Nuclear Survivability. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are Essential.

  • Security Clearance: Due To The Sensitive Nature Of This Position, Candidates Must Be Able To Obtain And Maintain A Department Of Defense Security Clearance. Previous Experience With Classified Programs Is Highly Desirable.
