Lead the development and design of nuclear survivability and air blast effects systems.
Utilize engineering expertise to ensure the safety and security of the nation.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Engineering: A Principal Engineer Systems- Nuclear Survivability/Air Blast Effects Must Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Engineering, Preferably With A Focus On Nuclear Engineering Or Related Fields.
Extensive Knowledge Of Nuclear Survivability: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Nuclear Survivability Principles, Including The Effects Of Air Blasts On Structures And Systems.
Experience In Systems Engineering: This Position Requires A Deep Understanding Of Systems Engineering Processes And Principles, Including Requirements Development, Design, Integration, And Testing.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Engineer, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Managing Projects Related To Nuclear Survivability. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are Essential.
Security Clearance: Due To The Sensitive Nature Of This Position, Candidates Must Be Able To Obtain And Maintain A Department Of Defense Security Clearance. Previous Experience With Classified Programs Is Highly Desirable.
