Lead the development and implementation of digital technologies for mission-critical projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of digital solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in digital engineering.
Conduct research and feasibility studies to identify and evaluate potential digital solutions.
Design, develop, and test digital systems and components.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development and implementation process.
Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Digital Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Digital Engineering, With A Focus On Complex Systems And Software Development. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Digital Engineering Principles, Processes, And Tools.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Principal Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Engineers And Overseeing The Development, Implementation, And Maintenance Of Digital Engineering Processes. They Should Have Excellent Leadership, Communication, And Project Management Skills.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Systems Engineering: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Systems Engineering Principles, Including Requirements Management, System Architecture, And Integration And Testing. They Should Be Able To Apply Systems Engineering Approaches To Complex Digital Systems.
Proficiency In Digital Tools And Technologies: Northrop Grumman Is At The Forefront Of Digital Engineering, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Working Knowledge Of Digital Tools And Technologies Such As Model-Based Systems Engineering (Mbse), Agile Methodologies, And Devops. Experience With Tools Such As Doors, Rhapsody, And Jira Is Highly Desirable.
A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Engineering: The Candidate Should Have A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Engineering Field, Such As Electrical, Computer, Or Systems Engineering. A Ph.d. In A Related Field Is A Plus. Additionally, Professional Certifications In Digital Engineering, Such As Incose Csep Or Ocsmp, Are Highly Desirable.
