Design and implement data solutions that align with Northrop Grumman's mission and goals.
Lead and manage data engineering projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements.
Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse architecture.
Optimize and tune existing data infrastructure for improved performance and efficiency.
Continuously monitor and troubleshoot data systems, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering to drive innovation within the company.
Mentor and coach junior data engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Develop and maintain documentation for data systems, processes, and procedures.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Participate in data governance initiatives to maintain data quality and consistency.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve data infrastructure and processes.
Participate in on-call rotation for critical data systems.
Uphold company values and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Data Science, Or A Related Field.
Extensive Experience In Data Engineering, Including Data Ingestion, Data Pipelines, And Data Warehousing.
Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Scala.
Experience With Cloud-Based Data Technologies, Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud.
Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Data Engineers, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver Complex Data Solutions.
