
Principal Contract Administrator

- Manage and administer complex and high-value contracts for a variety of programs.
- Ensure compliance with all contract terms and conditions, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters.
- Negotiate and finalize contract terms and conditions with customers and partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Monitor contract performance and identify any potential issues or risks.
- Develop and maintain accurate and organized contract files and documentation.
- Prepare and present contract status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to junior contract administrators.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve contract processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to contracts.
- Participate in contract negotiations and dispute resolutions.
- Ensure all necessary approvals and authorizations are obtained for contract modifications.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure contract compliance and mitigate any potential risks.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all contract-related matters.
Strong Knowledge Of Government Contract Regulations And Compliance: A Principal Contract Administrator At Northrop Grumman Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far) And Other Government Contract Regulations To Ensure Compliance With All Requirements.
Extensive Experience In Contract Negotiation And Management: This Role Requires A Candidate With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Negotiating And Managing Contracts Of Varying Complexities And Values.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Principal Contract Administrator, You Will Be The Main Point Of Contact For Northrop Grumman's Contracts With Government Agencies And Other Partners. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building And Maintaining Positive Relationships.
Ability To Analyze And Interpret Complex Contract Terms And Conditions: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Thoroughly Review And Analyze Contract Terms And Conditions To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Mitigation Strategies.
Experience In Leading A Team Of Contract Administrators: In Addition To Individual Responsibilities, A Principal Contract Administrator May Also Be Required To Lead A Team Of Contract Administrators. Previous Experience In A Leadership Role Is Highly Desirable For This Position.
