Conduct complex and detailed analysis of engineering designs and systems.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to engineering problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Utilize advanced analytical tools and methods to evaluate and improve designs.
Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges.
Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate them into design processes.
Lead and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.
Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management.

Maintain accurate and organized documentation of analysis and design processes.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Aerospace Engineering - A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles Is Essential For A Principal Analysis Engineer At Northrop Grumman. A Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Aerospace Engineering Is Preferred, But Degrees In Other Related Fields May Also Be Considered.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Relevant Experience - Northrop Grumman Is Looking For Candidates With A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Engineering Analysis, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry. This Experience Should Include A Combination Of Hands-On Analysis Work And Leadership Roles.
Proficiency In Engineering Analysis Tools And Software - The Principal Analysis Engineer Must Be Proficient In Various Engineering Analysis Tools And Software, Such As Ansys, Abaqus, And Matlab. They Should Also Have Experience With Cad Software, Such As Catia Or Solidworks.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills - As A Principal Analysis Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Leading A Team Of Engineers And Working Closely With Other Departments And Clients. Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Manage Projects And Collaborate With Others.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations - Northrop Grumman Works In Highly Regulated Industries, And The Principal Analysis Engineer Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Asme, Astm, And Faa Regulations. Knowledge Of Military And Government Specifications Is Also Preferred.
