- Develop and deliver engaging training courses on orbital mechanics and mission analysis for Northrop Grumman employees and clients.
- Utilize strong instructional skills to effectively educate and engage students.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends in space exploration to ensure course content is relevant and accurate.
- Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and exercises.
- Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to continuously improve course content and delivery.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students to enhance their understanding and application of orbital analysis concepts.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new training programs and initiatives.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to measure the effectiveness of training and make necessary adjustments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for other teams within Northrop Grumman.
- Represent Northrop Grumman at industry events and conferences to showcase our expertise in orbital analysis and mission planning.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold company values while interacting with students and colleagues.
- Stay organized and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality training on a consistent basis.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to enhance instructional abilities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety protocols, while conducting training sessions.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Aerospace Engineering, Astronomy, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Orbital Analysis, Including Designing And Executing Orbital Maneuvers.
Strong Understanding Of Orbital Mechanics And The Ability To Apply Mathematical Concepts To Real-World Scenarios.
Prior Experience Teaching Or Training In A Professional Setting, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry.
Knowledge Of Industry-Standard Software And Tools Used For Orbital Analysis, Such As Stk (Systems Tool Kit), Matlab, And Agi (Analytical Graphics, Inc.) Software.
