- Conduct nondestructive testing (NDT) on various aerospace and defense products to ensure safety and reliability.
- Utilize advanced NDT techniques, such as ultrasonic testing, radiography, and eddy current testing, to detect defects and flaws in materials.
- Develop and implement NDT procedures and techniques to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Analyze and interpret NDT test results to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure NDT requirements are met during the product development process.
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay current with industry advancements and developments in NDT technology and techniques.
- Train and mentor junior NDT technicians on proper procedures and techniques.
- Prepare reports and documentation of NDT findings and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during NDT testing.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NDT processes and procedures.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the company's values and standards.
- Attend conferences and seminars to stay updated on the latest NDT techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve NDT-related issues.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field
Certification In Nondestructive Testing Methods Such As Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Or Magnetic Particle Testing
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Nondestructive Testing, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry
Strong Knowledge Of Ndt Equipment And Techniques, As Well As Industry Standards And Regulations
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Ndt Data Accurately And Efficiently.
