
Non-Destructive Test Technician

- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on critical components of aircraft and spacecraft to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while conducting NDT.
- Utilize various NDT techniques, such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant inspections, to detect defects.
- Record and analyze test results, and report any discrepancies or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any NDT issues.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in NDT technology and techniques, and implement them as needed.
- Follow all company and industry standards and regulations related to NDT.
- Keep accurate and organized records of all NDT tests and results.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input to improve NDT processes and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure efficient and timely completion of NDT tasks.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality standards when handling sensitive information.
- Prioritize and manage workload to meet project deadlines.
- Continuously strive to improve NDT skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge Of Ndt Techniques: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding And Experience In Various Ndt Methods Such As Ultrasonic Testing, Visual Inspection, Magnetic Particle Testing, And Dye Penetrant Testing.
Certification In Ndt: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Relevant Certifications Such As Asnt Level Ii Or Iii Certification In Ndt Methods, Demonstrating Their Proficiency And Expertise In The Field.
Experience With Ndt Equipment: The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience And Knowledge In Operating And Maintaining Ndt Equipment, Such As Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors, Radiographic Equipment, And Eddy Current Testers.
Attention To Detail: As Ndt Requires Precise And Accurate Measurements, The Candidate Should Have Strong Attention To Detail And Be Able To Interpret Data And Identify Potential Flaws Or Defects.
