- Develop and implement mission assurance strategies and processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our products and services.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of concern in projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for improving product and process quality.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics to track and report on product performance.
- Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis to address quality issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support mission assurance activities.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality requirements and processes.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in mission assurance to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Train and mentor junior mission assurance engineers.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Participate in project reviews and provide input on mission assurance related matters.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of mission assurance policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Quality Assurance, Systems Engineering, Or Mission Assurance.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Mission Assurance Or Quality Engineering Role, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Government And Industry Quality Standards And Regulations, Such As As9100 And Mil-Std-882.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Mission Assurance Plans, Processes, And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To Stakeholders.
