  1. Develop and implement mission assurance strategies and processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our products and services.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of concern in projects.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  4. Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  5. Analyze data and provide recommendations for improving product and process quality.
  6. Develop and maintain quality metrics to track and report on product performance.
  7. Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis to address quality issues.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support mission assurance activities.
  9. Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality requirements and processes.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in mission assurance to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  12. Train and mentor junior mission assurance engineers.
  13. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  14. Participate in project reviews and provide input on mission assurance related matters.
  15. Contribute to the development and improvement of mission assurance policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Quality Assurance, Systems Engineering, Or Mission Assurance.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Mission Assurance Or Quality Engineering Role, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Government And Industry Quality Standards And Regulations, Such As As9100 And Mil-Std-882.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Mission Assurance Plans, Processes, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To Stakeholders.
