  1. Develop and implement mission assurance strategies and processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our products and systems.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential mission-critical issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on customer missions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mission assurance requirements are integrated into all phases of the product development lifecycle.
  4. Act as a subject matter expert on mission assurance practices and provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
  5. Monitor and analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance mission success.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to mission assurance and incorporate them into our processes.
  7. Lead or participate in customer and internal audits to ensure compliance with quality and mission assurance standards.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their mission requirements and ensure their satisfaction.
  9. Train and mentor team members on mission assurance concepts, tools, and processes.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve our mission assurance processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Prepare and present mission assurance reports and metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.
  12. Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders, representing Northrop Grumman's mission assurance capabilities and commitment to quality.
  13. Foster a culture of mission assurance and quality throughout the organization, promoting a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Mission Assurance Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Mission Assurance And Risk Management.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Experience With Government Contracts And Regulations, Particularly In The Defense Industry.
