  1. Develop and implement mission assurance plans and processes to ensure the quality and reliability of Northrop Grumman's products and systems.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas for improvement in product design, manufacturing processes, and testing procedures.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions are implemented.
  4. Lead and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address any non-conformances or failures in products or processes.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to mission assurance and ensure compliance within the company.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure their products meet quality and reliability standards.
  7. Provide guidance and support to project teams in implementing and maintaining quality standards and processes.
  8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including management and customers, to provide updates on mission assurance activities and address any concerns.
  9. Monitor and analyze data and metrics related to product quality and reliability, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Mentor and train junior mission assurance engineers and provide guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  11. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and enhance overall quality and reliability.
  12. Act as a champion for quality and mission assurance within the company, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, Such As Aerospace, Mechanical, Or Systems Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Mission Assurance Or Quality Assurance Roles In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 9001 And As9100.

  • Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Experience Implementing Risk Mitigation Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
