Design and develop mechanical components and systems for aerospace and defense applications.
Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative solutions and improvements in existing designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other engineering disciplines.
Create and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet performance and safety requirements.
Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges during the design and development process.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and techniques.
Implement quality control processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of all mechanical systems.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on project progress.
Mentor and train junior engineers and provide technical support to team members.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5-10 Years Of Experience In Mechanical Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Strong Knowledge And Expertise In Design, Analysis, And Testing Of Mechanical Systems And Components.
Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Solidworks Or Catia, And Simulation Tools, Such As Ansys Or Matlab.
Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Lead A Team And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
