- Lead a team of mechanical design engineers in the development of innovative technology for defense and aerospace applications.
- Manage and oversee the design process from concept to production, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure seamless integration and execution of design projects.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure high-quality work and promote professional growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and incorporate them into the team's processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to support the procurement of necessary materials and components for design projects.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Participate in budget planning and cost estimation for design projects, and monitor and control project expenses to stay within budget.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among team members.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Mechanical Design Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With Experience In Managing A Team Of Engineers.
Extensive Knowledge Of Mechanical Design Principles, Cad Software, And Industry Standards.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Technical Information To Stakeholders.
