  1. Develop and implement efficient and effective manufacturing processes for the production of innovative products and systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues and improve product quality and efficiency.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  4. Utilize knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  5. Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and specifications.
  6. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology to ensure Northrop Grumman remains at the forefront of innovation.
  8. Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on new processes and procedures.
  9. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in the manufacturing process.
  10. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and equipment necessary for production.
  11. Participate in new product development and provide input on design for manufacturability.
  12. Continuously seek out opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in the manufacturing process.
  13. Communicate regularly with management and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
  14. Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, Such As Mechanical, Industrial, Or Manufacturing Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Manufacturing Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.

  • Proficiency In Manufacturing Processes And Techniques, Including Cad/Cam Software, Cnc Machining, And Lean Manufacturing Principles.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Issues In A Fast-Paced Production Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Standards, Such As As9100 And Iso 9001, And Experience With Quality Control And Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
