- Perform daily system monitoring and maintenance tasks to ensure all systems are running efficiently and effectively.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Linux systems, including hardware, software, and network.
- Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for all systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Linux systems administration.
- Train and educate other team members on Linux systems and processes.

Proficiency In Linux Operating Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Linux Operating Systems, Including Installation, Configuration, And Troubleshooting.
Experience With Virtualization Technologies: Northrop Grumman Often Uses Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware And Openstack, So Experience With These Tools Is Highly Desirable.
Knowledge Of Networking Concepts: A Linux Systems Administrator At Northrop Grumman Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Networking Concepts, Including Tcp/Ip, Dns, Dhcp, And Routing.
