1. Develop and execute flight test plans and procedures to evaluate the performance and safety of new aircraft designs.
2. Monitor and analyze flight test data to identify any anomalies or issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
3. Collaborate with design engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during flight testing.
4. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards during flight operations.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of flight testing activities and results.
6. Participate in pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings with test pilots and other team members.
7. Identify areas for improvement in aircraft design and testing processes and provide recommendations for enhancements.
8. Assist with the development and implementation of new flight test techniques and technologies.
9. Stay current with industry developments and advancements in flight testing methods and technologies.
10. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders regarding flight testing progress and results.
11. Uphold a strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance in all aspects of flight testing.
12. Mentor and train junior flight test engineers as needed.
13. Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as required for flight testing operations.
