  1. Conduct research and analysis on survivability technologies and techniques to support the development of advanced systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative survivability solutions that meet customer requirements.
  3. Utilize engineering principles and techniques to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of survivability solutions.
  4. Perform simulations and tests to evaluate the performance and functionality of survivability systems.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in survivability technology to inform design decisions and recommendations.
  6. Generate and present technical reports and data to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support decision-making processes.
  8. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  10. Continuously improve and optimize survivability solutions through research and development efforts.
  11. Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
  12. Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance the team's technical capabilities.
  13. Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support as needed.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of company strategies and goals.
  15. Comply with all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Survivability Engineering, Preferably In The Defense Industry

  • Strong Knowledge Of Principles And Techniques Related To Survivability Analysis, Testing, And Design

  • Proficiency In Using Software And Tools Such As Ansys, Ls-Dyna, And Matlab For Survivability Analysis

  • Ability To Obtain And Maintain A Security Clearance, As Many Northrop Grumman Projects May Require Access To Classified Information
