- Implement quality and reliability processes and procedures to ensure the success of missions.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Train and educate team members on quality control processes and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and maintain positive relationships.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on quality standards and requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality issues and develop mitigation plans.
- Document and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mission assurance processes.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and methodologies to improve quality and reliability processes.
- Uphold the company's mission and values and promote a culture of quality and excellence.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Preferably In Mechanical, Aerospace, Or Systems Engineering.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry, With A Focus On Mission Assurance.
Knowledge Of Industry And Government Quality And Safety Standards, Such As As9100 And Iso 9001.
Strong Understanding Of Risk Management And Mitigation Strategies.
