  1. Perform dimensional inspections and measurements to ensure the quality and accuracy of products.
  2. Interpret complex engineering drawings and use geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure compliance.
  3. Use various measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, to accurately measure and record dimensions.
  4. Identify and troubleshoot dimensional issues and work with engineering and production teams to resolve them.
  5. Follow established procedures and protocols for conducting inspections and documenting results.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized records of all inspections and measurements.
  7. Identify and report any non-conformances or discrepancies found during inspections.
  8. Participate in quality control meetings and provide input for process improvements.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to dimensional inspections and GD&T.
  10. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of inspection tasks.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing dimensional inspections.
  12. Continuously strive to improve personal skills and knowledge to excel in the role.
  13. Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Dimensional Control Or Metrology

  • Proficiency In Utilizing Various Measurement Tools And Equipment Such As Cmms, Laser Trackers, And Optical Measurement Systems

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Practices Related To Dimensional Control, Such As Gd&T And Asme Y14.5

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Data And Drawings.
