The responsibilities for this job description may include:
- Conducting regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential cyber threats to the company's systems and data.
- Developing and implementing effective cybersecurity strategies and protocols to protect the company's networks, systems, and data.
- Monitoring network traffic and system logs for any suspicious activity and taking necessary action to mitigate potential risks.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company's defenses are always strong and effective.
- Investigating and responding to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending remediation actions to prevent similar incidents in the future.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that cybersecurity measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations and processes.
- Conducting regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Providing technical guidance and support to other team members and employees on cybersecurity-related matters.
- Participating in incident response drills and exercises to test the company's readiness and improve its response to cyber attacks.
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders to address any cybersecurity concerns and provide updates on the company's security posture.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity measures and making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all cybersecurity processes, procedures, and incidents.
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Cybersecurity Analysis, Preferably In A Government Or Defense Industry Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Frameworks And Regulations, Such As Nist, Iso 27001, And Hipaa.
Proficiency In Various Cybersecurity Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Vulnerability Scanning.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
