- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
- Develop and implement strategies and protocols to prevent and mitigate cyber attacks.
- Monitor network and system activity to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity team to create and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Conduct security audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, and provide reports and recommendations for remediation.
- Implement and maintain security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
- Communicate with external stakeholders, such as clients and vendors, to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery procedures.
- Work closely with other departments, such as IT and legal, to ensure the security of company data and systems.
- Identify and address any compliance issues related to cybersecurity, such as HIPAA or GDPR.
- Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to other team members on cybersecurity best practices.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Cybersecurity Role, With A Focus On Threat Analysis And Incident Response.
Familiarity With Industry-Standard Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, And Vulnerability Scanning.
Strong Understanding Of Network Security Protocols And Concepts, Including Firewalls, Vpns, And Access Control.
Relevant Certifications, Such As Cissp, Ceh, Or Giac, Are Preferred.
