Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and masking as necessary.
Apply primer, paint, and clear coat using various techniques such as spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
Ensure proper mixing and application of paint according to established specifications.
Monitor and adjust paint equipment to achieve desired results.
Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling hazardous materials.
Keep accurate records of paint usage and maintain inventory of supplies.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and meet deadlines.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve painting processes.
Communicate any issues or concerns with aircraft surfaces or equipment to appropriate personnel.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and safety.
Meet production goals and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Train and mentor new team members as needed.
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

Experience With Aircraft Painting: Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Painting Various Types Of Aircraft, Including Commercial And Military Aircraft. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Different Painting Techniques, Materials, And Equipment.
Knowledge Of Aircraft Coatings: A Strong Understanding Of Aircraft Coatings Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have Experience With Selecting And Applying The Appropriate Coatings For Different Types Of Aircraft, Including Knowledge Of Corrosion-Resistant Coatings And Special Coatings For Specific Environments.
Attention To Detail: As An Aircraft Painter, Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure A High-Quality Paint Job. Candidates Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail, Including The Ability To Identify And Correct Any Imperfections In The Paint Finish.
Safety And Compliance: Safety Is A Top Priority In The Aviation Industry, And Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations Related To Aircraft Painting. This Includes Knowledge Of Handling Hazardous Materials, Personal Protective Equipment, And Proper Disposal Of Materials.
Teamwork And Communication Skills: Aircraft Painting Is Often A Team Effort, So Candidates Should Have Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills.
