  1. Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in chemistry, including introductory and advanced courses in various subfields.
  2. Conduct research in a specialized area of chemistry and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
  3. Mentor and advise students in their academic and research pursuits, providing guidance and support for their personal and professional development.
  4. Actively participate in the academic community at Northern State University, including attending department meetings, serving on committees, and engaging in professional development activities.
  5. Develop and maintain a curriculum that is current, relevant, and engaging for students, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty members in the department to develop interdisciplinary courses and research projects.
  7. Assess student learning outcomes and provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
  8. Engage in service activities, including outreach to the local community, and serve as a representative of Northern State University at conferences and events.
  9. Keep up-to-date with developments and advancements in the field of chemistry to ensure that course content and research projects remain relevant and cutting-edge.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion among students and colleagues.
  11. Maintain an active research agenda and seek external funding to support research projects.
  12. Comply with the policies and procedures of Northern State University and maintain the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.

  • A Ph.d. In Chemistry Or A Closely Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
