
Program Assistant I

- Provide administrative support to the program by performing tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls and emails, and maintaining records and documents.
- Assist in program planning and implementation by coordinating logistics, arranging meetings, and preparing materials.
- Monitor program budgets and expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of program tasks and projects.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere by greeting and assisting visitors, students, and staff.
- Keep track of program deadlines and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
- Act as a liaison between program staff, students, and other departments within the university.
- Assist in marketing and promoting the program through various channels, such as social media, newsletters, and events.
- Conduct research and compile data to support program development and improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Attend meetings, take notes, and provide updates and recommendations to program staff.
- Continuously assess and improve administrative processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
- Adhere to university policies and procedures and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Cultivate positive relationships with program stakeholders, including students, faculty, and community partners.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the university's mission and values, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business Administration, Education, Or Communications.
At Least 1 Year Of Experience In A Program Assistant Or Administrative Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.
Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Students, Faculty, And Staff.
Proficiency In Computer Software And Programs, Such As Microsoft Office, And The Ability To Learn And Adapt To New Technology And Systems.
