- Teach Chinese language and culture courses to undergraduate students.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the university's mission and goals.
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess students' progress and provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages open communication and mutual respect.
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in the field of Chinese language and culture.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and quality in course content and delivery.

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data.

- Attend to administrative tasks related to teaching, such as submitting grades and responding to student inquiries.
Fluency In Mandarin Chinese: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Command Of The Mandarin Chinese Language, Including Reading, Writing, And Speaking Skills. This Will Allow Them To Effectively Teach And Communicate With Students.
Teaching Experience: Previous Experience Teaching Chinese Language Or Related Subjects Is Preferred. This Could Include Teaching At The College Level Or In Other Educational Settings.
Cultural Knowledge: A Deep Understanding Of Chinese Culture, Customs, And Traditions Is Important For An Adjunct Instructor Of Chinese. This Will Allow Them To Provide A Well-Rounded Education To Students And Incorporate Cultural Elements Into Their Teaching.
Educational Qualifications: A Master's Degree In Chinese Language, Linguistics, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Position. A Doctorate Degree Is Preferred, But Not Always Necessary.
Interpersonal Skills: As An Adjunct Instructor, The Candidate Will Work Closely With Students, Colleagues, And Other University Staff. Strong Interpersonal Skills, Including Communication, Collaboration, And Adaptability, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
