Collaborate with localization team to develop and implement strategies for translating and adapting Nintendo games and products for international markets.
Utilize knowledge of gaming technology and industry trends to ensure accurate and high-quality translations.
Conduct thorough reviews of translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.
Work closely with game developers to provide linguistic and cultural feedback during game development to ensure smooth localization process.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
Research and stay updated on cultural and linguistic trends in target markets to ensure culturally appropriate translations.
Use localization tools and software to manage translation projects and ensure efficiency and consistency.
Collaborate with external translation vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of translations.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to localization and work with technical teams to find solutions.
Provide training and support to internal teams to promote understanding and awareness of localization best practices.
Participate in user testing and provide feedback on usability and language quality of localized products.
Continuously evaluate and improve localization processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of translation processes and decisions.
Stay updated on Nintendo products and game releases to ensure timely and accurate localization.
Represent Nintendo at industry events and conferences to promote the importance of localization and share best practices.

Job Qualifications

Fluency In Multiple Languages: A Technical Localization Specialist At Nintendo Must Have A Deep Understanding Of At Least Two Languages, Including English And Japanese. Fluency In Additional Languages Such As Spanish, French, Or German Is Also Highly Desirable.
