- Develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with company goals and drive sales.
- Conduct market and consumer research to gain insights into current trends and consumer behavior.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and innovative products for our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure a cohesive brand message and product offering.
- Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Manage inventory levels and make recommendations for product assortment and pricing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform merchandising decisions.
- Collaborate with retail partners to ensure proper merchandising and placement of Nintendo products.
- Develop and manage budgets for merchandising initiatives.
- Train and educate sales teams on product knowledge and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure all merchandising materials and displays are of high quality and align with brand standards.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve merchandising strategies to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of merchandising plans.
- Represent the Nintendo brand and values in all interactions with stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Merchandising, Preferably In The Video Game Industry.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Retail And E-Commerce Trends And Strategies.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Use Data To Make Informed Decisions.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Product Categories, Including Forecasting, Inventory Management, And Promotional Planning.
