  1. Develop and implement localization strategies for Nintendo games, ensuring they are culturally and linguistically appropriate for global audiences.
  2. Manage and lead a team of localization specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of localized content.
  3. Collaborate with game development teams to ensure localization requirements are considered from the early stages of game development.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify cultural and language preferences of target regions.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external localization agencies and vendors to ensure efficient and effective localization processes.
  6. Plan and manage localization budgets and timelines, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
  7. Work closely with game producers and project managers to prioritize localization efforts and ensure timely release of localized content.
  8. Review and approve localized content to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in localization technology and processes, and implement best practices to improve localization efficiency.
  10. Advocate for the importance of localization within the company and promote cultural sensitivity and diversity in game development.
  11. Provide training and guidance to team members on localization processes, tools and best practices.
  12. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to support their growth and development.
  13. Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to ensure localized promotional materials are culturally appropriate and effective.
  14. Act as a liaison between different departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration for successful localization efforts.
  15. Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusivity within the localization team and across the company.
