Manager, BI Data Engineering
Drive vision, define, and execute on plan to realize vision. Oversee and build data pipelines, data ingestion processes, and development/maintenance of ETL processes and jobs. Effectively communicate roadmap, project status, and resourcing status to non-technical leadership teams. Build and oversee solutions: segmentation and targeting capabilities for personalization, marketing, reporting and analysis solutions. Manage development of new features and capabilities, and delivery of dashboards and data visualizations. Write and tune SQL, Hive, Presto queries, and support data mining. Investigate new data sources, and assess technology, operations, process and business impact of incorporating data sources into infrastructure. Define process needed for operations, including project management and performance. Define and manage SLAs for datasets and processes running in production.
8 plus years of experience in analytics field
6 plus years of hands-on experience in BI, data warehouses, and designing/operating large data platforms
Experience in data management disciplines through data analysis, data stewardship, data warehousing, data architect and/or data modeling.
Preferred passion for video game category or other related fields (such as entertainment, e-commerce, etc.).
