Job Description

Provides a full range of accounting services for assigned business activities Acts as subject matter expert for inventory cost accounting area and may represent the team, department or manager on projects and/or meetings as needed. Assists in establishing and implementing new or modified systems, accounting methods, and procedures relating to production and inventory costing activities. Monitors key internal control points for process integrity. Works closely with IT on the development, testing and implementation of inventory cost accounting systems. Researches and applies new accounting processes and technologies. Assesses and recommends the appropriate accounting and reporting of moderately complex transactions and activities. Develop and analyze financial projection information based on historical trends.

Job Qualifications

Four to six years of related experience including three to four years of inventory cost accounting experience
Knowledge of automated inventory cost accounting systems (Oracle EBS preferred)
Experience providing reporting and analysis to management required
Experience presenting reporting and analysis to management preferred
CMA or CPA preferred
